Today I went to Tyson’s Corner Center Mall in VIrginia! It was fantastic!
Getting there was a bit of a mess. Metro trains were single-tracking between Morgan Boulevard and Addison Road Metro Stations because of a track condition at Addison Road (I don’t know what it was). I had to wait a wait a while for a Silver Line train at Addison Road Metro Station, but the rest of the ride went smoothly, despite having severe allergies!
Tysons Corner Center is freakin’ huge! It must have hundreds of stores or something. Tyson’s Corner Center (Tysons 1) has more reasonably priced stores while Tysons Galleria (or Tysons 2) has more expensive stores. I didn’t go there.
For lunch I went to Sbarro’s Italian Eatery and order a White Pizza. I never had White Pizza before so I though I’d try it. It was yummy! I also had a Caesar Salad and a medium Pepsi.
I went to all kinds of cool stores! The first store I went to was Spencer Gifts. They have all kinds of outrageous (and a bit raunchy) stuff. I didn’t buy anything there.
Then I went to the Lego store. It was pretty neat, but the stuff is expensive, I wanted to buy this passenger train playset but it cost $150! I sure didn’t have that kind of money.
Next, I went to Claire’s and bought some jewelry with my the letter of my first name on it—the letter “K”! I also bought three sparkly bows—a pink one, a multicolored one and a blue one.
The next store I went to was NYX Cosmetics. There, I bought some fuchsia lipstick and back liquid eyeliner. I’m trying to create the perfect 80s fashion look.
The next store I went to was Torrid. I bought a light blue button-down shirt, a belt, black leggings and some gold hoop earrings.
I wanted to go to the American Girl store, but I didn’t have the spoons.
I was bored, so while waiting for my phone to charge I chewed on my stim toy. They have special phone charging stations on tables. Isn’t that cool?
Getting home was a fit tricky. Trains took forever because of a medical emergency at Potomac Avenue Metro Station. Plus, I almost missed the bus to go home because there was no Station Manager at Addison Road Station, but I had a lot of fun that day!
Buh-bye, Tysons COrner. It’s been fun!
